Assigned female at birth people in Iran who don’t identify as women i.e transgender men and some non-binary people, go through the same thing cis women do, even much worse because their gender identity further marginalizes them and the system in place has always treated them less than human.
Access to reproductive health care and abortions is almost impossible for a non-married cis-woman in Iran, but for transgender men and non-binary people who have periods, it is not only impossible, even attempting to receive them will put them in danger of losing their lives. Literally.
“Femicide” is a common thing in Iran but many of the victims are not even women, but trans people who were assigned female at birth. They are killed by their families and because there is no systemic support for them, their abusive families always walk away without punishment. The morality (Hijab) police of Iran has always been far more brutal with trans people because, again, there are no laws protecting them, they can potentially receive maximum punishment aside from the sexual/verbal/physical abuse they receive by the arresting officers.
There are no official statistic of these occurrences. Many trans people are not safe enough in society to report these things, and the ones who do might receive more abuse and possibly “Femicide” from their families, because in Iran, when you get raped, your “virtue” is considered stained and you have no value anymore.
What is happening in Iran is a femenist revoulotion including Trans men and Non-Binary people but what in western countries are talked about is only women. Trans men and non binaries also being forced to wear Hijab.

They are being killed at the front line by Islamic republic forces but still being ignored. That has to be stopped.
We, the trans non binary commiunity have lost so much, we have cried too many tears and screamed too many names and mourned too many siblings. we are done begging for our lives and living on the sidelines. It’s time we take our rights, it’s time we speak up against those who severely harmed us our whole lives. It’s time to say fuck you to all the fathers and brothers and uncles and husbands and any other cis gender man who gets away with killing us because the Fascist Regime supports their actions against us. Just because you don’t see us, doesn’t mean we don’t exist.
We exist and our existence is resistance. The Free Tommorow of Iran will be Trans and will be queer. It will be for every single marginalized group suffering at the hands of the Islamic Republic. All the Kurds, Turks, Balooch, Gilak, Arabs, Afghans. It will be for disabled people. It will be for Bahaei and Sunni and Jewish people. It will be for women and for trans men and for non-binary people so they can express themselves as they want.
We won’t stop until our freedom is ours.
